…I really can’t believe that 2014 is nearly over!  There is so much going on here, tents are ready to hit the cleaners to be cleaned, reproofed and repaired, all of which will take about six weeks ~ rather them than me!

So, what’s been going on other than packing tents?!  I spent all of last weekend at the Fabulous Frost Fair at the equally Fabulous five star boutique Hotel Hillbark.  I was there to help my lovely friend Katie ~ Squidges.  I had a great time playing shop on her stall made all the better for seeing lots of my lovely ‘The Celebration Tent’ customers from the past couple of years ~ it was great to see so many of you ;0)

With demonstrations from the Hillbark chef’s, Maria from Alright Petal, Leah from The Custom Cupcakes Company and Melissa from Fresh Start Health, an activity corner for the children created by The Creation Station and Father Christmas hidden in The Celebration Tent ~ there was plenty to keep you and yours entertained.

The Fabulous Frost Fair ran over three days earlier this month and was the brain child of Tanya Leary aka MumaLeary!  Supported by Ali Marshall and Soraya Leary they created the best Christmas Fair for miles around!  Showcasing over 40 of the North Wests (mainly based on the Wirral) best independent businesses ~ Squidges, Craty Bs, Jenny Dunlop, RachieB, Be Quirky Jewellery, Silcocks Fine Food, Inodorem, Le bizz, Stitched with Love, Natalie’s Cakes & Bakes, AJM Creations, Time to Shine, Made by Nell, Project Rudolph, Cappucciono Clothing, Almathea Rose, Fresh Start Health, Flaming Coffee Bean Roastry, Traditional Wirral Turkeys…and so many more!

The FFF did three very important things ~

1. Supported local independent businesses
2. Raised funds for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity
3. Collected food for the Wirral Food Bank

The FFF raised a staggering £3,699.02 for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity from ticket sales, the raffle and Father Christmas’ Grotto ~ well done everyone!  I think you can double that next year…

Over 28Kg of food, that was donated by families visiting the FFF, has been delivered to the Wirral Food Bank ~ which was of course welcomed.

Looking forward to FFF 2015 already ~ it promises to be bigger and better than this year and this year’s was pretty impressive!

That’s it for now…happy shopping…!
